William (Bill) H. Rowe has been involved for over 35 years in the emergency medical services industry. He has provided direct patient care as a firefighter/paramedic, provided leadership as a Captain/Training Officer for a rural fire protection district, supervised a large hospital-based occupational injury treatment program, served as an EMT program faculty member for Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon, and, for 18 years, owned and operated a private emergency care training business serving a variety of clients throughout the United States.
He is currently the Vice President of Business Development, 24-7 for the Health & Safety Institute in Eugene, Oregon where he oversees the 24-7 EMS and 24-7 Fire training products for EMS and fire responders. Previously, Bill was the Director of Product Development for HSI where he managed the development and production of training materials for CPR, first aid, occupational safety, firefighting, and EMS.
Bill joined the Health & Safety Institute staff in 1998. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. He has resided in the Eugene area since 1980.
